We are excited to be recruiting an Engineering Manager to assist with managing the engineering operations for a prominent, mixed-use estate in Central London. The estate has a vast footprint and has various corporate occupiers based at numerous properties across the estate. Furthermore, you will be working for a market leader in the property & asset management space, who is renowned for the opportunities that they offer to their employees.

As the Engineering Manager, you will report into the Senior Engineering Manager on-site and work closely with the building management teams with the day-to-day management of the allocated properties, with you being the dedicated point of contact for the engineering services.

You will also be involved in:

• Management of the M&E service partners on site
• Dealing with any reactive issues in a safe and prompt fashion
• Identify innovative ways to improve energy & sustainability, working closely with the on-site Energy Manager.
• Monitoring health & safety across your portfolio
• Overseeing any fit-out projects across the portfolio of properties you manage.
• Liaising with tenants, and attending to their needs when necessary

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:

• A strong mechanical and electrical background, holding a qualification in either discipline
• If you hold an HNC/HND/Degree or Masters in a Building Services/Mechanical or Electrical Subject, this may put you at a slight advantage.  
• Previously managed the engineering services based at a sizeable commercial property / estate.
• Hold previous experience / or knowledge of energy management.
• A broad experience in Technical FM operations
• Experience auditing 3rd party suppliers.
• Ideally will have worked for another managing agent, or property development company.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop excellent working relationships with your client and tenants.

Senior Facilities Manager (Client Side)

Facilities Manager

You will be responsible for a mixed portfolio of properties across the M3 / M4 corridor, with your main site being based in Woking.

Key Duties:

• Overseeing the day-to-day management of your portfolio, carrying out regular site visits
• Production and management of each buildings service charge budget
• Attending tenant / client meetings, whilst acting as a key point of contact for any issues
• Creating innovative ways to engage with tenants, rolling out monthly events within buildings, and workshops to involve tenants.
• Overseeing all health & safety matters of your properties, completing risk assessments and ensuring statutory compliance is up to date.

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Estate Operations Manager for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract to join a top-tier real estate consultancy supporting with the management of a prestigious, large mixed-use estate in Oxford. Hexagon Group have the pleasure of working with an established property management company who have an exciting requirement for an Assistant Building Manager to be based at a multi-tenanted office building in the London. The building is home to a variety of occupiers, and has over 100,000sqft of lettable office space. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a key point of contact for any tenant queries
• Completing health & safety reports and responding to any health & safety issues that may arise.
• Supervising on-site service partners
• Ensure the PPM schedule requirements are undertaken, and reactive works are dealt with promptly.
• Supporting the Building Manager with the production and management of the service charge budget
• Launching tenant engagement activities and communicating these throughout the building.
• Deputising for the Building Manager when they are absent.

Ideally you will have previous experience working within the property management field, ideally this will be working within a multi-tenanted commercial building. In addition, if you hold an industry recognised certificate such as an IOSH certificate, this may put you at an advantage along with being able to demonstrate an understanding of service charge budgets.
