The Opportunity

We are working with a well-established built environment consultancy that is looking to appoint a MEP Director to lead the MEP function within its highly successful Defence & Secure Environments business unit. This is a senior leadership role offering a genuine opportunity to shape, grow and lead the MEP discipline within a mature and respected consultancy environment.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Defence, this is a senior leadership position combining strategic direction, business development, client engagement and full oversight of service delivery. You will take full responsibility for shaping and delivering the MEP strategy across the Defence & Security sector, with a strong commercial focus on growing capability, expanding revenues, and maintaining the highest standards of service quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and grow the MEP consultancy function within Defence & Security

Drive revenue growth and sector expansion

Develop and maintain key client relationships across public and private sector clients

Shape and implement the MEP strategy across the business unit

Ensure consistent quality, governance, and performance across all delivery

The Ideal Candidate

Leadership experience within an M&E design consultancy environment

Commercial and business development skills/growth mindset

Proven ability to operate at senior leadership level

Comfortable engaging with complex Defence & Security clients

Track record of growing teams, revenue and capability
