As the Building Manager, you will oversee a large, multi-tenanted office building in Central London, spanning over 100,000 sq ft. The building has recently achieved practical completion and will soon be occupied by a sole corporate tenant. You will play a key role in managing a major fit-out project over the coming months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management of the asset, with support from a Senior Facilities Manager
• Ensuring full compliance with health & safety regulations and maintaining accurate statutory compliance records
• Acting as a key liaison for both the incoming occupier and client, addressing any issues that arise
• Managing hard and soft service contracts, including M&E, cleaning, security, and pest control
• Overseeing the fit-out works in collaboration with contractors and the tenant
• Completing snagging and defect reports to ensure quality standards are met

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the building, ensuring it is well-maintained, secure, and compliant with all health & safety regulations.
• Oversee building services, including cleaning, security, and maintenance contractors, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property, identifying and addressing maintenance issues promptly.
• Manage tenant relationships, responding to any queries or issues to ensure tenant satisfaction.
• Prepare and manage budgets, including service charge allocation and forecasting.

In this role, you will manage a small portfolio of commercial properties in the West End, all within walking distance of each other. You will have an office within the portfolio, shared with your client. With this in mind, we are looking for a strong communicator who can effectively manage client expectations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company with a strong track record of promoting team members into senior positions. Over the past three years, they have expanded the team on this instruction by at least 15 members and continue to identify opportunities for further growth.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Day to day management of your allocated portfolio, providing exceptional levels of customer service to your tenant / client.
• Overseeing statutory compliance across your portfolio and ensuring health & safety protocols are being followed.
• Preparing site risk assessments for each property and uploaded on to the relevant system.
• Responsible for managing each site's service charge budget from preparation to reconciliation.

Assistant Building Manager

The building is home to a variety of notable occupiers, and has over 100,000sqft of lettable office space.  Our client is keen to hire an experienced Assistant Building Manager who aspires to be promoted to a Building Manager in the next 12 – 18 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a key point of contact for any tenant queries
• Completing health & safety reports and responding to any health & safety issues that may arise.
• Supervising on-site service partners
• Ensure the PPM schedule requirements are undertaken, and reactive works are dealt with promptly.
