Your working week will be a blend of home working, site inspections, and time spent at our client’s offices; however, you will ultimately have full autonomy over your diary.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your portfolio, carrying out monthly and quarterly site visits to ensure smooth operations. You will assist in the production and ongoing management of each site’s service charge budgets, while acting as the primary point of contact for tenants and clients. A key part of the role will involve overseeing all health and safety matters, ensuring full statutory compliance across your properties. In addition, you will manage on-site service partners, covering both hard and soft services, to maintain high standards of delivery.

We are keen to speak to individuals who come from a background within facilities management, this will ideally be working for a managing agent or landlord, managing multi-site portfolios or a singular multi-tenanted property. In addition, you will have strong knowledge of health & safety / compliance, which will ideally be backed up with an IOSH or NEBOSH Certificate and be familiar with the process of setting a service charge budget.

We are delighted to be working with a growing commercial real estate investment company that boasts an exciting portfolio across London. As part of an exciting period of growth, they are seeking a Senior Building Manager to oversee a small portfolio of prestigious ‘trophy’ assets in the City of London. You will be responsible for a 300,000 sqft property, in addition to two further properties located nearby. Each site has an Assistant Building Manager in place, for whom you will provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship

As the Senior Building Manager, you will take ownership of the day to day operations of the 3 properties, ensuring seamless delivery of both hard and soft services while driving exceptional customer service standards. You’ll lead and motivate the on-site service partners, constantly looking for ways to elevate the tenant’s experience and deliver outstanding service. With full responsibility for site compliance, you’ll maintain rigorous health and safety standards and keep all records up to date. You will also manage a multi-million-pound service charge budget, collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative energy and sustainability projects, and oversee any tenant fit-outs.

They are now seeking a Building Manager to take responsibility for a Grade A, multi-tenanted asset in the City of London, spanning over 150,000 sqft of floor space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the property’s health & safety, ensuring the tenants follow the procedures closely and all statutory compliance is up to date and logged correctly.
• Supporting with the production and management of the service charge budget
• Working closely with the occupiers, forming strong relationships and frequently communicating with them.
• Management of both hard & soft service contracts, which includes M&E, cleaning, security, and front of house services.
• Working with internal teams to identify opportunities to maintain and improve the building’s energy and sustainability performance.

Within your portfolio, you will be overseeing six properties, one of which you will manage directly, while overseeing a team of three who manage the remaining properties. This is a fantastic time to join an experienced property management team, with several recent promotions that highlight their commitment to employee training and development.

Key responsibilities:

• Working closely with the team that reports into you; providing guidance and mentorship when required and carrying out yearly reviews.
• Day to day management of your allocated property, attending to tenants needs, and management of service partner’s.
• Planning strategically with the senior management team on areas to improve service delivery and working on various projects.
• Liaising closely with your client, and ensuring your team deliver high levels of customer service to their tenants and client.

I'm currently working with an impressive International Real Estate Investor with an established UK presence, and a growing property portfolio consisting of several £Billion of Commercial and Residential Assets. Having expanded significantly in recent years they are now seeking to bolster the team with the recruitment of a Building Surveyor who will help develop and deliver a wide range of works including ESG/asset improvement projects and maintenance across a portfolio of residential/accommodation assets.

Duties will include feasibility, due diligence and works management, working side by side with the Asset Management and Property Management teams. A true client side role, you'll work closely with outsourced property operators and specialist consultancies to successfully deliver works to an exceptionally high standard.

The ideal candidate will likely come from a Building Surveying background, and might be currently working for a Managing Agent, Building Surveying Practice/Professional Services Consultancy or in a similar Client Side role. You should have extensive experience delivering instructions within residential property, along with experience delivering both maintenance and asset improvement projects.
