Job Description

Our client is a leading property investor, and one of the largest owners of Student Accommodation Assets in the UK. Having expanded rapidly in recent years with the acquisition of numerous student accommodation property assets, they are now seeking to bolster their Property Management Team with the appointment of a Senior Technical Services Manager.

The Senior Technical Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing Mechanical and Electrical works across the property portfolio involving both Maintenance and Capex Projects, through the effective management of outsourced Facilities Management partners, and Contractors. Budgetary responsibility will include both CAPEX and OPEX budgets, and further commercial responsibilities will include service partner KPI/SLA management, creating tender specifications and appointing contractors.
Additionally, you’ll provide technical support to colleagues and play a lead role in helping drive energy efficiency across the portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Mechanical and Electrical background and can be biased towards either discipline. It’s important that you have both strong practical and theoretical engineering knowledge with experience of managing maintenance, and projects. Additional experience of Student Accommodation, Hotels, PRS or Co-Living will also be warmly received by the client.

The role comes with a Salary up to £95,000, 20% Bonus, 10% Non-Contributory Pension, plus various benefits.
