Senior Building Manager

Central London

£65,000 - £75,000

Hexagon Group are delighted to be working with a leading real estate company who have an exciting requirement for a Senior Building Manager to manage an iconic, multi-tenanted property that stands at over 300,000sqft and occupies some of the world’s largest professional services organisations.

Within the role, you will be supported by an Assistant Building Manager and have support from a Regional Engineering Manager along with a full range of FM service partners on-site with you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing day to day management of the asset, managing both the hard & soft services
  • Responsible for driving the highest levels of customer service.
  • Management of your on-site service partners, and the in-house reception team
  • Liasing with your reception team in relation to the running of monthly events program and working with the local community to launch new pop-up events for the communal areas.
  • Responsible for all site compliance, ensuring the compliance is up to date, and health & safety is strictly followed.
  • Production and management of a large, multi-million service charge budget
  • Working with various internal teams on energy & sustainability projects
  • Oversight of any tenant fit outs, working closely with your tenants to limit any disturbance.

We are keen to speak with experienced Building Managers who have previous experience managing substantial, multi-tenanted commercial buildings and have previously managed a multi-million-pound service charge budget. You will have a strong understanding of H&S / compliance which will be backed up with an IOSH or NEBOSH Certificate and you will be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of hard services.

You will need to be an enthusiastic, personable individual who recognises what exceptional customer service looks like. You will also possess good general knowledge of the real estate industry and have previously dealt with energy and sustainability management projects.
